"She Said It's Cold Outside, and She Hands Me My Rain Coat."

So, 12 inches of snow throughout Saturday, now 23 degrees and we have a 1/2 inch of freezing rain as a nice layer on top. Like icing on the cake. Can you say drop the hockey puck let's play? This is the most wintry weather we have had in Portland for a very long time. I love it. It reminds of the wintry beauty of Salt Lake City that I miss so. You see, you can shovel snow and it looks pretty.

Like the kids' snowman...er...snow penguin?

your perfectly manicured snow walls bring back many memories...mostly of me backing into them and getting in deep doodoo.....but fun to see. I thought of you the other day as I ran the snowblower with much much less form and perfection! love you....don't freeze!

My wife has a picture somewhere of the Snow Camel that her and her sister made when they were in High School.

Cool Pictures.

Building penguins looks like great fun! The closest I can get to snow is to look at it (about 4,000 ft. ) on the mountain range behind our home but we've got weather in the 40's for So Cal. Does that count? Have fun and enjoy your holidays! I'd like to see you build an igloo too.
