Wordful Wednesday

So, This is my first venture in to Wordful Wednesday. Here we go.
I thought I would share an idea that I found to be very cathartic and I am sure someday will be very enjoyable for my kids. Specifically my daughter Alayna. When each of our children were born I took advantage of some of the "quiet moments" in the first month to gather my thoughts surrounding the events of their birth and what their arrival into this world and my life meant to me. I wrote of what I wished and prayed for them in the future and put those thoughts into a letter. I then hid and sealed the letter behind the matting of this picture. So one day each of them will find this letter written to them from Daddy and be able to hopefully enjoy its contents and cherish it forever. A few other items that are a hit can be found ( Daddy's Heart, Mommy's Heart ) or in Utah.

What a thoughtful thing to do for your children. Love it. I also love your blog design. I am a Jimmy Buffett lover as well. Matter of fact my hubby and I were married at a Jimmy Buffett concert this past summer. At 5 O'clock. So now we have our special song too. I know a little corny but there is a story behind it.
